Fairmount Behavioral Health System in Philadelphia offers acute inpatient psychiatric care for adolescents and adults, chemical dependency treatment for both detoxification and rehabilitation, and an adolescent acute partial hospitalization program. Fairmount’s clinical programming is distinguished from many other behavioral health facilities by offering an Allied Therapy Program led by full-time clinicians and hosts doctoral and masters level trainees through affiliations with several colleges and universities. Clinicians have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Fairmount offers specialized services to address the specific needs of the individual including those struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use.

Friends Hospital in Philadelphia, the nation’s oldest private psychiatric hospital, serves approximately over 9,000 individuals annually through its crisis response center, providing critical assessment, triaging and facilitating placements. The hospital also offers acute inpatient mental health programs and The Greystone Residential, a private long-term residential rehabilitation program for individuals with persistent mental illness. We value our relationship with the Drexel University Department of Psychiatry. Since the start of this partnership in 2007, over 470 residents, medical students and fellows have completed the program in partnership with this Philadelphia mental health hospital.
The Greystone Program Residential at Friends Hospital

With emphasis on the development of daily living and social skills, community inclusion, and purposeful activity, the Greystone treatment approach aims to help residents realize their dignity, worth, and individual potential. The program is designed to accommodate individuals for several months or serve as a long-term residence. Each resident has a multidisciplinary treatment team that can include their psychiatrist, the program nurse, and counseling staff. Residents receive medication monitoring, therapy and activity groups and individualized support for the completion of daily activities such as hygiene, food preparation, and socialization.
Crisis Response Center at Friends

The Crisis Response Center at Friends Hospital is available 24/7 to provide emergency evaluations for mental health or addiction-related crisis. Similar to a hospital’s emergency room, no one is turned away. A multidisciplinary team, which may include case managers, registered nurses, certified peer specialists and psychiatrists, will help the patient develop recommendations for further treatment. Access to this treatment and warm hand-offs to community providers are available for adults age 18 and older.
The Horsham Clinic

The Horsham Clinic is a private psychiatric hospital situated on 55 acres in a distinctive campus setting serving the Greater Delaware Valley and New Jersey. Each program is housed in a separate, distinct unit with a total of 10 units across campus. The hospital is licensed for a total of 206 beds serving children, adolescents, and adults. The clinic also offers partial hospitalization for adults, adolescents, and children. Two of the partial hospital programs are situated on Horsham’s campus in Montgomery County and two satellite programs are located in Chester and Delaware Counties. The focus of treatment at Horsham Clinic Program begins with understanding the patient’s unique history and life experiences. Trauma-Informed Care creates the foundation through which all services are delivered and the milieu is structured to create a safe and therapeutic environment. Specialized programs include psychiatric intensive care and co-occurring disorders. The clinic offers a full continuum of services including but not limited to the following: individual therapy, group therapy, recreational therapy, music therapy, therapeutic yoga, skills-based therapy, and education (children and adolescents). Evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, and trauma-based interventions are infused throughout care.
KeyStone Center

KeyStone Center in Chester, PA, specializes in treatment of co-occurring disorders and process addictions including substance use, compulsive gambling, sexual compulsivity and trauma. We utilize evidence-based approaches and offer a continuum of care including detox, rehab, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, and a variety of medication-assisted therapies. We utilize a holistic approach to the treatment of substance use disorders with Evidence-Based specialties such as DBT, Motivational Interviewing and Seeking Safety for PTSD and trauma. We offer these services throughout our continuum of care at KeyStone Center and Key Recovery. We accept most insurances.
KeyStone Center Extended Care Unit (ECU)

KeyStone Center ECU is an internationally recognized program for the treatment of sexual compulsivity and trauma. The residential center is a 16-bed treatment program located in Suburban Philadelphia. The Extended Care Unit treats multiple addictions and co-occurring disorders. Treatment components address the cognitive, behavioral, spiritual, emotional and psychological aspects of addiction and recovery. Program activities are provided seven days a week. The minimum length of stay is approximately 30 days in this twelve-step based program and ranges depending upon individual needs and completion of specific therapeutic tasks. KeyStone Center ECU is a private pay program.

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital in Lancaster, PA – a joint venture partnership between Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health and Universal Health Services – opened in summer 2018. Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital provides evidence- and strength-based, trauma informed, recovery-oriented care, based upon a holistic treatment philosophy. An inpatient psychiatric facility with units developed to meet the community’s needs, Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital offers an Intensive Treatment Unit, Adolescent Unit, Psych/Medical and General Psychiatric Unit. Services provided include adult mental health inpatient treatment, psychiatric care, acute mental health and more.
